M Audio SP 2 Sustain Pedal
I have always been fascinated by the piano. It has been around for centuries and has been used by many of the world’s greatest musicians and composers. Persons like Johann Strauss and Beethoven used the piano widely in their musical compositions, and as we can all recall their music transcends even down to our time. When you listen carefully to music like their own, you can feel the message they are sending across, touching the hearts of millions of conscientious listeners. Sometimes when you listen to music played from the piano, you can distinctly hear certain notes lasting, or being sustained, longer than other notes. The part of the piano that accomplishes this is the m audio sp 2 sustain pedal. What it does is sustain “all the damped strings on the piano by moving all the dampers away from the strings and allowing them to vibrate freely. All notes played will continue to sound until the pedal is released.”
If you are not sure what I am talking about, you can see a picture of it above. The pedal has been on all versions of the piano for decades. It is usually the rightmost of two or three pedals. Nowadays, the modern pedal can be used with the electric piano or keyboard. This gives selected notes being played the same effect as with the non-electric pianos. If you are a piano player and would like some of your notes to be sustained, then you should consider getting one for yourself. The sustain pedal is an inexpensive tool that can help to bring your musical genius to new heights. Your music can stand out from the rest, giving you the musical acclaim that you may have been dreaming of. Other musicians are using it, and so should you.
